Golf "4" Jim fundraiser to be held
Archived March 2007 article

Firefighter Jim Winand, our Christian brother and friend, is battling colorectal cancer. His friends are trying to raise funds to help pay for his medical expenses. Let's come together to bless Jim, his wife Remle, and two children - Mia, 4, and Levi, 2 - during this difficult time.

The fundraiser golf tournament will be held on Saturday, March 24th at 1:00 PM (check-in at 12 noon), at Hawaii Kai Executive Course Par 3. A silent auction will also be held.

The Golf "4" Jim tournament cost is $45 per player, which includes golf green fee, food, refreshments and prizes. Optional Greenies and Skins are $20; electric golf carts (optional) are $9 per player. Donations or prizes are welcome. A "JimStrong" T-shirt and bracelet will be available for $10.

To enter, please send the following information, along with a check payable to "cash" or "John Harris" (Tournament chair), to John Harris, 1227 Pihana Street, Honolulu, HI 96825: Your name, phone number, handicap, greenies and skins; T-shirt size(s), number of non-playing guests, and amount enclosed.

If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Bobby Olmstead, Silent Auction Coordinator, at (808) 386-9328 or email olmsteadb@gmail.com.
