My very best wishes to all of our readers, and hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day. For dessert I'd like for you to try this most delicious cake. It's one of my favorites.

Hawaiian Delite Cake

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups diced bananas
1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)
1 cup walnuts or pecans
3 eggs (slightly beaten)
1-1/2 cups salad oil
2 teaspoons vanilla

Sift together first four ingredients, add remaining items and mix well. (Do not beat.) Bake in a 350-degree oven in a greased tube pan for one hour and twenty minutes. Frost with whipping cream and dust with coconut.

Just writing this recipe makes my mouth water!
