Kahala Nui Names CEO

Kahala Nui, a Life Care retirement community, has named Pat Duarte as chief executive officer. The longtime Hawaii business executive will be responsible for strategic planning, asset management, financial performance and growth for the not-for-profit organization.

Duarte has more than 30 years of executive level experience with a number of Hawaii-based health and nonprofit organizations.

"We are very fortunate to have someone of Pat's caliber to lead our executive team," said Phillip Ching, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "He has a proven track record of success in creating customer-focused, financially self-sustaining organizations, and we look forward to his contributions as an integral part of the Kahala Nui team."
