Scholarships Awarded to Outstanding Seniors

The Mamoru and Aiko Takitani Foundation, Inc. has awarded scholarships to 59 exceptional seniors at every qualifying public and private high school in Hawaii. The scholarships were presented at a June 16 awards luncheon.
Zoe Morrison, of Punahou School, was the recipient of the Mamoru Takitani Distinguished Student Award of $10,000. Ruth Chen, of Iolani School, was the recipient of the Aiko Takitani Distinguished Student Award of $10,000. Mary Guo, of Roosevelt High School, was the recipient of the Karen Uno Outstanding Student Award of $5,000.
East Oahu school's recipients of $1,000 scholarships:
