Diesel was abandoned by his family in a divorce. He is a pit bull and is incredibly strong. But, as with most pits, he has a fun-loving, gentle personality and really just wants to play. He's good with other dogs, children and cats as well, and will make an excellent family addition. You need, however, to be able to accommodate his energy level. He needs lots of play or run time to work off his puppy energy.
Dove gained her name because she coos just like a dove when she's happy. Dove is an abandoned cat who is incredibly sweet and giving. She is initially incredibly shy, though, and will take some coaxing to come out of her shell. But, she will be worth it if you are looking for a lifetime of unconditional love!
Jessie was hit by a car in Waianae and was basically left by the side of the road. Our friends at Friends for Life found him and brought him to us, since he was obviously injured. Jessie sustained a broken pelvis from which he is still healing. But he's doing great and is starting to walk again only after 4 weeks of bed rest. Jessie has a heart of gold and has never once snarled or tried to bite, even when he was in great pain. He's not ready to leave yet, but likely will be ready in another month.
